Across the evolution of my work, I have created a sanctuary that reflects my interpretation of the beauty that exists in imperfections and the heart’s yearning. My art crafts a narrative that transcends mere aesthetics into imagery, aiming to be a whisper of hope. My creative drive explores the entanglement between vulnerability, desire, & identity. With photography, I explore how these themes coexist in a world steeped in shame, & how often we are conditioned to mask parts of ourselves to belong.
Through my art, I wish to evoke a connection to the untainted joy within, inviting others to rediscover the playful parts of themselves. Darkness & light are recurring symbols in my work, where the interplay between what is often seen as forbidden & what is inherently beautiful manifests into dreamlike imagery.
Using film photography, I strive to capture subjects & environments that resonate with remnants of the past. The grain & flaws of film mirror the fragility & beauty in imperfections. Just as each photograph holds a fragment of a moment in time, my work seeks to preserve the unspoken emotions that might otherwise fade. Each image offers a glimpse into a world where vulnerability meets strength. I aspire to create a sense of nostalgia & preservation—not just of film photography itself but the light & shadow of the human spirit.
